Welcome visiting royalty to the 2023 Sisters Rodeo!

We have provided the following information to help make your visit and stay more enjoyable. This information is to help you stay updated on the events that are occurring for our week-long event.

Please make sure your parade applications are turned in no later than May 10th. If your application is not received on time you will NOT be able to participate in the parade.

Visiting royalty get two tickets per performance per title holder. All visiting royalty must buy extra tickets if needed for family members. Please purchase your tickets as soon as possible if you want a seat. Saturday afternoon and night performances are usually sold out at least a month in advance. You can order online through our website at https://tickets.sistersrodeo.com/p/tickets.

Arena closes 4 hours before each rodeo performance.

Check in for all visiting royalty will be on the lawn area in front of the Clubhouse. There will be a pop up tent and a sandwich board that will state “VISITING ROYALTY CHECK IN HERE.” One of our members will check you in for that performance. They will provide you with your tickets and answer any questions you may have. You will need to check in for every performance you are attending. Do NOT go into the rodeo or ticket office they will not be able to assist your request for free performance tickets.

Any visiting royalty not on horse back please let our association member know and we will make accommodations for you during the Grand Entry.

You must be checked in no later than 5pm in order for us to get your information to the rodeo announcer in time.

Promptly at 6pm there will be a mandatory production meeting in the warm up arena. If you do not attend you may not be able to be in the grand entry for that performance. 6:30pm all royalty will be lined up for grand entry. (This schedule will be the same for each performance: Saturday/Sunday afternoon production meeting will be at 12/noon, line up at 12:30pm)

We are pleased to announce the Cowboy Channel will be televising all of our performances again this year!

Please note; we do not have horses available for run-in’s, you will need to make arrangements on your own prior to the event.

Parking for all contestants and visiting royalty is in the back grass area over by the Kiwanis Buckaroo breakfast building. All up front parking is for rodeo spectators. We do not have RV or camp hook ups, our parking is a dry lot. You are more than welcome to stay overnight but please make sure to bring everything you will need. We also ask you make sure to clean up after your horses, throw away all garbage and leave the grass area as nice as when you first arrived. Our volunteers and members work hard all week and the clean-up goes much faster when everyone helps out. Thank you!!

Directions:

To the rodeo grounds; go through the town of Sisters and head to Bend on Hwy 20, we are located about 3 miles out of town on the right next to the Bend/Sisters Garden RV Park.

Week of events:

Wednesday

PRCA Xtreme Bulls starts at 6:30pm.

This is an all bull riding event!

No queen runs or comp tickets.

Tickets must be purchased ahead of time.

You can order online through the rodeo website, prices start at $20.

Thursday

Slack, free admission starts at 8am. Breakfast concessions open at 7am.

We are inviting all of you to our Local’s night at Sotheby’s Realty in downtown Sisters from 4-7pm to sign autographs with Queen Sadie and help us kick off our festivities.

We are also having our first ever Benefit Barrel Race hosted by Cantastic Races. Time onlies starting at 4pm and the race starting at 5:30pm. 4D format, open to all racers.

Friday

Queens Luncheon:

Location at the Ski Lodge Inn located in downtown Sisters, time TBA. This luncheon is generously donated by our President Patty Cordoni and her team at Sotheby’s Realty. Please bring autographs sheets. We will have a table outside for signing. More information and an Evite to come.

Evening Performance:

(Arena will close by 3pm.We do have a warm up area you can use if you arrive later in the day.)

Visiting royalty must be checked in no later than 5pm. Production Meeting at 6pm. Rodeo performance at 7pm.

Grand entry: Run in and line up at either the North or South end of the arena. You will be escorted out of the arena by our SRA Flag Team.

Please make sure your horse is able to stand during the grand entry (if your horse struggles you may be asked to attend the next performance without your horse and you will be announced by standing at our platform and being videoed on the Jumbotron.)

After the rodeo Dry Canyon Stamped will be our after rodeo entertainment over at the Red Rock Corral.

Saturday

Rodeo parade starts at 9:30am.

Parade: Downtown Sisters on Saturday morning-you can fill out a parade application online thru our website at https://sistersrodeo.com/parade/.

Afternoon Performance 1pm.

Arena will close by 10am.

Visiting royalty must be checked in no later than 11am.

Mandatory production meeting at Noon in the warm up arena.

If you do not attend you may not be able to be in the grand entry for that performance.

All royalty need to be lined up and ready for grand entry by 12:30pm.

Evening Performance 7pm.

Arena will close by 3pm.

Same process as previous performances.

After the rodeo Dry Canyon Stamped will be our after rodeo entertainment over at the Red Rock Corral.

Sunday

Patriots/Family Day (bring lots of autograph sheets)

Kiwanis Buckaroo Breakfast 7-11am.

Cowboy Church Service 9am. Held in the rodeo grand stands

Final Performance 1pm.

Arena will close by 10am.

Same process as previous performances.
