SRA Media Passes / Credentials
SRA Media Passes are provided under the condition that the recipient expressly understands and agrees to comply with all applicable PRCA Media Guidelines (Media Guidelines For Rodeo Coverage | PRCA Sports News). Media Passes are distributed by the Sisters Rodeo Association (“SRA”) only to journalists of recognized news outlets on assignment with a news service and to PRCA-member photographers. Freelance journalists must provide proof of assignment to be considered for credentials, with a commitment to use images and information for that specific publication only and in compliance with all applicable PRCA Media Guidelines. Any recipient of an SRA Media Pass who does not comply fully with these rules may, without warning, have their credentials withdrawn for the remainder of the rodeo and may be banned by the PRCA and/or the SRA from photographing future events.

PRCA General Photography Guidelines
Under PRCA Media Guidelines, only PRCA member photographers are granted a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute images taken during PRCA-sanctioned events. No other photographer is allowed to shoot a PRCA-sanctioned event without written approval from the PRCA or the relevant rodeo committee (here, the SRA Committee). The PRCA retains all rights to the filing, taping, and recording in any media now or hereafter known, still footage/photography, radio or television broadcasting, or reproduction in any manner or form thereof of any PRCA-sanctioned event.

Limitations on Media Access / PRCA Dress Code
Under PRCA Media Guidelines, only PRCA-member photographers are permitted to shoot from inside the arena or behind the chutes during PRCA events. Freelance and media photographers must shoot from designated areas and will not have access to, and may not shoot from, behind the bucking chutes (on the chute platform).

Under PRCA Media Guidelines For Rodeo Coverage (Media Guidelines For Rodeo Coverage) proper western attire (long sleeve shirt with collar) is recommended. Cowboy hats are not required, but ball caps are not permitted.

Under SRA Media Guidelines, freelance and media photographers are prohibited from shooting in the Sisters Rodeo Plaza and box seats without advance written permission from the SRA Committee. Any freelance or media photographer requests for access to the Sisters Rodeo Plaza and box seats must be submitted to Katie Schrock (kschrock@sistersrodeo.com) on or before May 1st.

Drone Policy
Under PRCA rules and SRA policies, the use of drone(s) at the Sisters Rodeo is strictly prohibited at any time. This includes the use of drone(s) that are or are not within the view of the Sisters Rodeo grounds by the drone or its operator. Under PRCA rules, a failure to adhere to this policy shall be considered a violation of PRCA Bylaw B10.3.4 regarding Harassing a PRCA Official or Spectator.

Deadlines for Media Pass Applications
Media Pass Applications must be submitted to Katie Schrock (kschrock@sistersrodeo.com) on or before the last Friday in May. Failure to meet this deadline may result in a rejection of the application. Media Passes will be available for pickup at the Media Check-In Desk at the Sisters Rodeo grounds before the start of each performance.
